Fantastic great for work, school, and travels

This book bag is perfect. It’s simple, but stylish. It’s roomy can fit books, computer, and more. Pockets are roomy and can hold your phone, keys, and little miscellaneous items. The material is a little stiff, but I can tell it will relax some with use. The color is spot on with the pics advertised. Overall A+ I will use this for traveling!

The perfect travel backpack

I bought this backpack for a trip to Italy where I'll be doing a mixture of city and coastal village visits with lots of walking and day trips with airplane and rail travel. It's the perfect size and structure to be used as my plane carry on and for day trips or short hikes between villages in Cinque Terre. It's so beautiful, with a vintage, archaeologist vibe that will pair well with everything from hiking gear to a day dress. It's big enough to carry a lot but not so large it overpowers a casual look. The leather and production is very high quality and not as stiff as I thought it would be - it holds its shape but when the drawstring is closed and it's not too full it compresses nicely. The initial engraving looks fantastic. I love the secret zipper in the back for storing more valuable papers or items. Appreciate the quick access clip for the main section and the drawstrings pull tight enough that I'm not worried about someone getting in to it easily while wearing it. I'm very picky about the form and function of items like this and my expectations have been surpassed, very impressed to see this design and quality from a local Canadian company.

Quality at a decent price!

After spending a week trying to find a durable backpack that is fashionable as well and large enough to hold numerous items, I found Hides online. All competitors fell short on service, quality, design, natural materials and availability. Hides came out ahead and I am now proud to sport one. It is very dry in Calgary, so I gave it a good leather conditioner before using and it is so rich and lusterous! Happy with the product.
